I’ve been doing some studying about online communities and how to build a strong one.
One idea I liked from the book, “Good to Great: Why Some Companies Make the Leap and Others Don’t” was how important it is to have a ‘Big Hairy Audacious Goal‘ that appeals to every member and pulls everyone wildly forward.
I was musing about what such a goal could be for us here in the Consciousness Playground.
I wanted something that is both about expanding who we know we are but is also extremely practical. AND something that would feel SO good if it were true, but also seems virtually impossible.
I came up with one that I’m currently running by members to get their response.
This morning I asked them,
“How would you feel if the Big, Hairy, Audacious Goal of the Consciousness Playground was for every single member to become financially self-sufficient by being who they are and doing only what they love?”
I can’t wait to see what they say and where we take it from here.
