Can You Pass A Roadblock by Creating a Vacuum?

Janice Dietert, $3000 Experiment Co-Leader

Hi, y’all. It’s Wendy. Before Experiment Co-leader Janice Dietert (in the photo, left) offers today’s support for your $3000 Experiment, be sure you see the photos of the visible, tangible results I got by working with the tool of consciousness I shared in the last post.

(Pretty cool, huh?)

I tell ya, you stick with this ‘consciousness’ stuff long enough and practice it regularly and playfully enough and reality starts to get pretty darn malleable…  (Oh, and if you’re just joining us, start here.)

So now, over to Janice to talk about…

“Hi, Janice here, holding down the fort while Rodney is on lecture trips.

Rodney Dietert, $3000 Experiment, lecturing.

Rodney Dietert, $3000 Experiment Co-leader, is on the road lecturing.  Again.

(You might be interested to know that as he and I have become more public about our work with consciousness tools like those we’re teaching in this experiment, Rodney is having a huge upsurge in requests to teach these tools in professional and academic settings.  Much to our amazement and delight.)

I’ve noticed a lot of people are really “getting” The $3,000 Experiment. It’s awesome to read about the wonderful bonuses coming into peoples’ lives. I’ve also seen a couple of comments from people who aren’t achieving the results they’d hoped for yet. Maybe you’ve hit a roadblock. That’s tough because then you start to doubt yourself, doubt the process and feel discouraged.

This sort of thing happens in all phases of life, all walks of life for all sorts of reasons. In Rodney’s case, this happens in science, particularly when he’s working on research and the results he’d hoped to attain aren’t showing up. It happens for me when I’m writing and I hit writer’s block. It happens to me with regards to health. This is normal and part of the process as you move into the realm of play and magic.   Let’s remember that Wendy let herself have a pity party in the last post when it seemed like that ceiling of hers was going to take days to bring down.

It’s what you do AFTER the pity party (let’s face it, we all need one now and then) that makes all the difference in the world.

There are definitely some tools and tricks you can use to gain an advantage and overcome perceived roadblocks. In this post, I’m going to share one of my favorite ones with you. And on Friday, I’ll share two more. These exercises are ones that Rodney and I use frequently, sometimes daily. They have huge impact on our lives and have shifted very unpleasant situations overnight if not sooner.

As you learn about them, do remember that each person is an individual. What works for one person may not work for another. That’s ok. Try each one and tweak it. The ones that resonate the most with you are the keepers. We’re all individuals so having an array of tools from which to draw is useful.

Today’s tool for finding your way past a roadblock is called CREATING A VACUUM. This is an activity we’ve modified from an exercise Dr. Mark Dunn taught in a workshop.

We’ve all heard the adage that the universe hates a vacuum and conspires to fill it with something. This exercise is a way to consciously create a vacuum having primed it with the intent of what you want to fill it with. I’ve created a short audio (below) that will lead you through the exercise. I can tell you that Rodney and I use this exercise often, and it has had miraculous results in our lives with the miracles often occurring in the moment or very shortly thereafter.

[PS. This is Wendy, high-jacking Janice’s post without her knowing it.

I just want to say that this audio-recording is Janice’s first ever. She bought the equipment last week and figured out how to use it to make this recording for you. Shhhh…Don’t tell her I mentioned this.

But did she not do a beautiful job of this audio?!?

Ah hem.]

Listen to the recording and try our Creating a Vacuum exercise over the next few days. I hope it proves useful to you. Let us know by leaving a comment below. I’d be thrilled if it produces some of the powerful effects for you that they have for us and others!

On Friday, I’ll share the other two exercises from our personal toolkits.   All of us here want to see just how far you can fly with this $3,000 Experiment.

Loving the exercises. Not writing the little amounts but becoming so aware of all the little ways that money comes into my life that I was never aware of before. I knew about the big cheques and large bills but never was conscious of the free rides on the bus when the check in wasn’t working, or the gift card that was left for me etc. I didn’t think of them as money I was receiving. It has been a very interesting journey. I am more fascinated by the little amounts than I am about the big ones. The little ones that are so impressing me. Not that I would turn away a large amount but something has shifted in me and I am so enjoying this new consciousness. Thank-you Wendy for this new journey.

Much to be grateful and thankful for and not just the $3000 Experiment which is progressing rather nicely as I seem to be attracting small yet appropriately timed sums from various sources I didn’t previously notice existed. I am a money magnet!

Thank you Janice and you too Wendy…

Having mixed results with the $3,000 experiment so far. I really like this exercise and yet after I had done it I found myself wondering if I had done it effectively like was I REALLY in my heart space enough and so on. I hate it when I have doubts because nothing good ever happens when I feel like that. I feel like I have to fight my way back to a feeling of neutrality, a feeling actually that I associate with my heart space. I am telling myself that it is ok to have doubts as long as I just accept them as being a temporary hiccup and don’t try and resist them because that always makes them bigger! However , it would be nice to do the exercise and not have the doubts afterwards…..

Hi everyone, i resinate to Patti not recording small amounts.
So i want to acknowledge the free clothing that came my way recently, then after tenancy problems, have just been paid. I took on the ‘extra 0’ for the challenge, while at the same time doing a 30 day sort, reluctant to say declutter, up to day 10 where 10 items leave the house. Best day was finally selling bunk beds for $30.00 and i gave away a mattress and 2 doona covers with it.
so easy to let the thoughts and feelings derail the process, loving the hints and ideas.

I’m still not able to download the MP3? I right click on it, “save as” but it’s saving the webpage not the sound file. Ideas???

Wendy Down February 19, 2015 at 2:04 pm

Thanks Nancy, and others of you who have pointed this out. We’re looking into it.

Nancy February 19, 2015 at 12:02 am

I’m playing with some weather issues with this 🙂

Hello Consciousnesseers!

Thanks so much for setting this playground up and for all that you’ve been sharing together. Great sound quality on your first recording Janice! This has been a great deal of fun so far for me, and it really is like having a school playground to go to weekly to play with my favorite friends.

Before the year even started, the day I first read about the experiment that would be launching in the New Year I received an unexpected sum of wait for it…$3,000. I had a good laugh to myself and went on about my business. After, when you posted about the altars, I made a mental note but didn’t get around to setting anything other than a spreadsheet on my computer up. Then I went to the store to pick up some things and noticed two items on shelves that were in people’s pictures of their altars – one was a genie lamp looking decoration. I took that as a wink and set up my altar. Since then, the unexpected sums showing up have been again worth a chuckle – so far the sum in both unexpected savings and cash influx have equaled $55 in two instances and $555 in another.

Like I said, this has been really fun so far!

Boundless BLISSings

thanks so much for the experiment Wendy. this is a challenge for me. I have found out that only me, myself and I stand in the way of not getting monies. apparently I’m feel I’m not deserving of extra money. so, I’m working on that. I must confess that when I started I thought, well, I’m not going to record the small amounts and will hold out for the larger amount. sooo, how’s that working out for me so far? well, not very well. I came to realize that if I record even a small amount, then I can celebrate that. and as I understand if you focus on something, the universe will provide more of the same. so, I’m going to record everything, no matter how small. It is also a time tied up with thoughts about money. My work may provide a disruption in income, yet to be determined. However, I know it will be alright. So for me, there is lots of emotions wrapped up in thoughts about money. I am also going back through your posts and doing the exercises over again. alternative universe thoughts are good to have !

What a great plan for course-correction mid-stream, Patti. I often find that the most powerful and freeing discovery/manifestation is when I find a way to feel differently in a situation even before the situation itself changes. Let us know what you notice from here!

Caroline February 18, 2015 at 8:15 am

Hi Janice and Wendy

That was wondertful!

I cant seem to download the mp3 version though it plays like the one for your mobile device?

Would love to do this in bed tonight

I’m just now purposefully wandering into this playground

Wendy Down February 18, 2015 at 12:58 pm

A warm welcome, Joey.

Joey February 18, 2015 at 3:36 pm

Thank You So Much! It appears that most of my message got sent to a parallel reality! Perhaps it is there helping remove old tired ceilings 😉 Much Appreciation to You and The Brilliant Co-Creators who are sharing time with us on this playground adventure 🙂
Janice, I very much loved your guided visualization, I went off to dreamland with heavy spacey hands & a light-filled

Pat February 18, 2015 at 3:30 am

Thanks, Janice.
Loved that recording. Just finished making and filling my vacuum.

Great job Janice!!!

Janice February 17, 2015 at 10:22 pm

First off, thank you Wendy for those sweet words when you “hijacked” the blog.

Secondly, I just did this listening to myself, and I could feel the power in this simple exercise all over again.

Heavy hands are fine Lillie. There is no right or wrong to this.

Thanks for the kind words, Natasha, and I’m so thrilled with your “extra zero” goal’s fulfillment. You’re absolutely right. No sense in stopping now!

Keep going people! You’re doing just great!

Lillie Hodges February 17, 2015 at 10:00 pm

When I performed this, as I pulled my hands apart and filled them, they became very heavy.

Natasha February 17, 2015 at 8:06 pm

This was wonderful, Janice! Both the exercise and your recording – I wanted you to go on and on, your voice was so soothing and I felt it could lead me to such great places. So please do some more! (You were so right, Wendy!)
While I’m here… I haven’t reported in yet on this experiment, but now I can see it’s time. I have had an unexpectedly generous result already: a ring of my mother’s that I finally put up for auction brought in way more than I’d expected; hard to calculate exactly, but the gain certainly met my “extra zero” goal of $30K. That day I was sending you guys big smiles and kisses! But you know what? Now, with your recording, Janice, I am inspired to keep going! Why stop here? Thank you so much, all of you, for your stories, suggestions, and for just making this fun!
