What If It’s Too Good To Imagine?

by Wendy Down on March 13, 2015

I’ve got the urge to say, “$3000 Experiment, we love you!”  (Phew. Feels good to get that out.)

In our last post, Experiment Co-Leaders Rodney and Janice Dietert shared details of the  unanticipated-and-joyfilled way their personal $3000 turned $30,000 and more Experiment is unfolding.  If you haven’t seen that, read it now because today, Ken Graydon takes its message a step further with a tale, and a lesson, of his own.

As you read Ken’s words below, pay attention to this:  Like Rodney and Janice, Ken’s intentions are being realized through events so unexpected he could never in his wildest dreams have imagined their goodness ahead of time.

This principle is occurring in my own $3000 Experiment and I’ll share the details next week. (The stuff happening is so absurd, I can only shake my head.)

Ken, Janice, Rodney and I all have a long history of learning how to really, really let go of our most fondly-held dreams, handing them over to a ‘higher power,'( like your Transformational Space was designed to do for you).  And without holding our breath to see whether the dream manifests or not, we focus on living life to the fullest without it; being perfectly ok even if it never manifests.    From that stance, we’ve experienced the universe as a benevolent place that shares our desires for ourselves and has the capacity to fulfill them in unexpected ways and with unanticipated timing.

Any of us would tell you that learning how to let go and trust has been the journey of a lifetime.  And, because you’re here in this experiment with us, its clear you’re on the journey too! (Which now makes me wonder, “After this experiment ends, would you like to carry on this journey together in some way?”)

Muse on that question as you read Ken’s story.  And since today is Ken’s birthday, let’s all say together….

[From Ken now… ]

You may not know that we “Consciouseers” jostle, in the nicest possible ways, to be able to write posts for the “$3,000 Experiment” so I’m glad to be back.

We are in the closing stages of this experiment but that’s no reason to slacken off or stop participating. The things you have learned, thought about and experienced are positive lessons that you can draw on for the rest of your life. Whether you attained every dollar you intended or not so far, you do know – because you have actually seen it going on – that if one person can do something, potentially, anyone can do it. So the next time you feel a need or desire to attract ‘unexpected income’ you know the steps to take which do work.

When I sat down to write this article, it was in my head (my least reliable indicator) to write something funny, but what I keep getting, in my heart, is that I should write about appreciation.

While gratitude is a feeling we get when we overcome some negative situation (so I use it a lot with my healing clients), appreciation is an acknowledgement of “who I have become”. This is the state I intend for you to feel now while you read this post, and about yourself constantly. It’s interesting that, in a different context, we talk about appreciation when something increases in value. That would be a really good image for you to have of yourself.

Because you were prepared to ‘step out’ and participate in this experiment you have increased your own value to yourself.

When you are in a state of appreciation, you are knowing that you create your own reality and you have the freedom to make the changes that are in your best interest and enable you to be the best possible version of yourself. This experiment has been about so much more than demonstrating that it is possible to attract money.  As important and desirable as that is, the exercise is bringing us into a state of appreciation of all that we can be. Perhaps I can share a personal example with you.

Through this $3000 Experiment, I have applied each of the steps we have shared – I have a Transformational Space in my healing room, I have made intentions – even listened to my own “Magic Carpet Ride” recording.  I have been blessed to have Wendy, Janice and Rodney as mentors and encouragers. I live in Perth, Western Australia, the most remote capital city in the world and am in my seventies so my life situation has few advantages that would predict favourable outcomes from an experiment like this.  However the thoughts we have shared with you are valid, positive and repeatable.

An element I brought to the experiment were my intentions for the book I wrote last year.  “Healing; the Handbook” was the culmination of a forty-year dream of finding a healing modality that could be easily shared.  I intended it to be a do-it-yourself Regeneration Healing workshop for anyone to use easily for themselves and others.

Ken with his book, Healing: the handbook. (See its purple glow?)

Ken with his book, Healing: the handbook. (See its purple glow?)

The book has taken on a completely unexpected ‘life’ of its own!  People tell stories about instant physical healing when they hold the book.  There are many stories about the violet light that glows between the pages as people take ownership of their copy.

When we started selling it in June 2014, our first print run was a daring 100. Now we order it in batches of 400, so we were able to reduce the price to make it more accessible. We have sent it to countries I had never heard of and every time the orders seem to go quiet – the book creates a story, or experience, that brings in more people and the pace picks up again.

What I had believed would be a quiet life, sending out an occasional book, has turned into an international workshop tour and an amazing busy healing practice. I’m loving it and I am in a state of awe and appreciation.

I wanted to share this part of my story to encourage you to persevere. Keep making those positive intentions, develop a state of wide-eyed wonder about every good thing that happens, appreciate it, no matter how small it seems at the moment. The universe rewards your appreciation by giving you more to appreciate.

Thanks, Ken.  (You’re kind of a big deal.)

As an aside, if you’re near Las Vegas, Canada or Ireland this summer, that’s where Ken’s workshops will be!  Dates and details here.

And looking ahead – normally our next $3000 Experiment posts would magically appear here before your very eyes next week but instead I’ll be in the sunny south!   So you’re all taking a ‘March break vacation’ with me 🙂

See you back here, Tuesday, March 23 for the next juicy post.

It’s been an exciting adventure, and YES, I’m up to continuing or moving into the ‘next chapter’ after April 1.
I so appreciate the differentiation between gratitude and appreciation – what s beautiful way to look at each…
In appreciation AND gratitude, here’s to the last part of the first 90 days and to beyond!

Good.Stuff.!

I have three Cooking Stations. One is for money, one is for physical health, and the other is for finding my perfect home. I have started calling them my Incubators. It seems to fit.

I’ve read this post several times and just now noticed the question about continuing after April 1. OF COURSE!!!!! I’d love to continue until everyone has everything they want!
