Your Job Is To Play. That’s All!

The different ways your left and right brain experience the same situation

The different ways your left and right brain experience this $3000 Experiment

Recapping the $3000 Experiment so far…

On Jan 1 (or shortly thereafter) you declared your participation by setting up your Transformational Space.

And later, perhaps tweaked it. (We love your photos, by the way!  Each space, so personal, so unique.)

Since then, your only work is to record unexpected money with the tool you chose.

Then on April 1, you’ll take stock.

To help understand how this experiment works, let’s revisit the high school physics class in which you learned that atoms are both particles and waves at the same time.   What your teacher probably didn’t discuss is that our brains are designed to simultaneously perceive situations from both of those states.  Particle and wave.

As the image above shows, your left brain perceives atoms and energy (things like money) as separate particles, as matter.  Your left brain perceives reality as solid.  There, things differ from each other in concrete, black and white ways.  The left brain is also where our concept of ‘past and future’ reside. The left brain experiences you as separate from everything else (like money) too.

It tends to be very serious in that left brain of yours.

On the other hand, your right brain perceives the very same situations in their just-as-real  ‘wave’ form.  To your right brain, reality is fluid energy, always changing. The right side of your brain perceives you, not as separate, but as part of everything (one more time…. like money).

Your right brain lives in the present moment (no past or future) and revels in sensing what’s new.  There’s no past or future there, so no fear, no worry, no anxiety.  No keeping score.

To your right brain, you exist beyond time and space.  You are always safe, fully engaged in what you’re sensing right now and at peace.   (For a great read of what this is like, check out neuroscientist Jill Bolte Taylor‘s book, My Stroke of Insight, about the astonishing experience of having her left brain wiped out by a stroke.)

The $3000 Experiment is designed to take advantage of the awareness of your right brain and of it’s power of influence.

To your right brain, even right now, money is not separate from you, the past is irrelevant and you are simply enjoying the energy of playing with money as pure potential.

These observations are highly useful because we also know, from physics, that when an atom is observed in its wave form, the observer influences how that wave collapses into form.

(Translation:  when we play with money as untapped, unformed potential energy we are actually influencing the way it appears as solid matter.  Get it?)

Because its likely you’ve never interacted with money in this easy, playful right-brain way before, your left brain may be downright perplexed and confused.  It can’t make sense of it all or work out the details logically. It can only project a future based on its archives of the past.

If so, yay! Your left brain is operating normally. Just notice and let it keep doing what it does. If you like, you can recognize its efforts, pat it on its confused little head and soothe it by saying, “Don’t worry, left brain, you don’t have to do anything in this experiment until April 1, when you’ll help count the numbers.  Before then, you’re 100% off the hook!”

(If you have a particularly stubborn left brain, you might like the tricks Janice used. Or this post about the common arguments your left brain makes along with a recording to soothe them by Ken.)

For today though, since you’ve got your Transformational Space, your unexpected money-related tracking tool, and it’s not yet April 1, there’s nothing you have to do but enjoy the experience of playing with us here.

If you want to take stock of what your right brain is noticing about this right now, simply pay attention to the feeling, the energy flowing in, around and as you right now.

Tell us about it, if you like, in the comments below.

And we’ll see you back here again on Friday, February 13!

How Do You Design Your Reality?

How creation works? It’s very very simple!
Bring your beliefs in alignment with who you really are!
What do I believe is true?
That is the most important question you have to ask yourself!
listen to that message here: http://www.lifebydesign.nl/home/creation/

My bank deposited money in my account by mistake. Amount 145,28
Some free tickets and great discounts on the moment I needed the products.

Trustful and Allowing.

Desire it, Intend it, Believe it ..
And Feel it … as it already happens…

Now back off and trust..

Another great post. My left brain enjoyed reading about the differences of the left and right brain and helped me relax into the experiment even more. I loved the comment about feeding the left (lizard) brain a grape and tell it to take a nap.
I had not read the last post and the comments about what is happening so far in the group. I enjoy happy stories so I went back and read them. I was excited to see that others were having success and at the same time noticed a little quiet thought I was having ” That’s nice, but stuff doesn’t like that happen for me” I dug a little deeper and found the limiting beliefs of I’m not worthy, I don’t deserve it, and there isn’t enough time left for me to manifest my $ amount. I added a zero- because that felt very exciting.
When I went to take a closer looked at the belief that I didn’t deserve it, I had the thought “no I really don’t feel that” Ha, was I wrong! I think the thought was such a part of me I didn’t even feel it anymore. Then like magic the feeling became super intense and it felt like I had a lead brick pressing into my chest, right below my collar bone. It felt like someone was standing on the brick. I spent 45 min feeling into it. Afterwards I checked to see if the other two beliefs were still true for me and no they weren’t!
I then realized I have had some of the unexpected money had appear in the last couple weeks.
$200 returned from a seminar I attended, if you attended they gave you the deposit back, had totally forgotten about that
$15 discount on taxi ride, he told me it would be $40 but then only charged me $25
$120 found in a file drawer
$60 found dinner coupon we forgot about- right before it expired!
$1.97 went to buy Almond milk, they were having a sale everything counts right?
**This is the best one- I went to a networking event and 5 min after being there they drew my name from the fish bowl, I won NBA Spur tickets. I thought, oh they are probably the nose bleed seats. I just checked the are worth $195 a piece + free parking $20 which all adds up to $410
I am now feeling excited anticipation for what shows up next!

Love this post and Kates post.. because I too did more than 3k.. I went for 300k LOL and have already gone past the original 3k we all set.. I just got word that unexpected trust account money will be coming, and though not before April 1st, but in the summer I am still one happy little manifesting goddess over here LOL I do not yet know the exact amount but something tells me it will be around the goal I set if all goes well OR MORE. Hope you plan on doing this again Wendy!!! It’s freaking FUN!!! <3

Now this is interesting. All the time I was reading about the right brain, I kept getting pictures of Treasure Chests, full Treasure Chests, spilling over with gold, and jewels and ropes of pearls. Incredible!

Wendy Down February 7, 2015 at 3:31 pm

Fern, why not consider those images (and especially the feeling they evoke in you) to be one of your unexpected money-related manifestations?

Patsy Ann Bowen February 7, 2015 at 12:13 am

I am so excited to have joined this site (just barely did)…but I am a little confused as to how this works…do I just try to engage the right brain and wait for it to manifest $3,000? Please help me!

AWESOME, Kate!
And Wendy… I couldn’t stop tingling and smiling while reading your current post! thank you.

Kate February 13, 2015 at 7:17 pm

Barb … and tingles and smiles are worth a king’s ransom … and more!

Kate February 6, 2015 at 6:47 pm

Hmmm. Updates. $3,000.00. I was naughty and went for $30,000.00. I thought let’s stretch it and make it interesting. Well, I received my first check for a product that I share on eBay. I get retail sales regularly, this was a commission check for someone who signed … with me … without my promoting the business opp, I do not go there. $75.00 last month, looks like closer to $90 this month … and a $395.00 check from another company who no longer lets me share through eBay. Business activity on this line, barely a drip and another check from no where (or everywhere). We thought I had cashed out my retirement in 1994. The company has since changed hands … and I was offered an early payout. After taxes and penalties … a little over $34,000.00. I have decided ot to touch it and keep the annuity … but again … unexpected funds. And well over $30,000.00. Me thinks it is going well. Thank you, and thanks to the verse.

Awesome job, Kate! Keep up the great work!

WTG Kate… I chose a larger amount too.. just posted about it above 🙂
